SharpSigma works on physical and technical problems from early definition through production support. The objective is a result that can be built, measured, validated and controlled—not merely analyzed.

Technical definition

Engineering starts with the requirement.

Before selecting a process or solution, establish what the product or system must do, which interfaces matter, what can vary, what cannot and how success will be demonstrated. A preferred process should not dictate the answer before the engineering problem is understood.

Failure analysis & technical recovery

Find the mechanism—not only the symptom. Establish what is failing, why it is failing, what has to change and how the corrective action will be verified.

Reverse engineering

Recover more than geometry: function, interfaces, datum structure, fits, materials, critical dimensions, process assumptions and inspection requirements can all matter.

Product design, DFM & tolerancing

Evaluate geometry, material, tolerance, process capability, assembly, inspection and cost together. A tighter tolerance is not automatically better engineering; the right tolerance is the one required by function and supported by the manufacturing and measurement system.

Verification

Make the technical answer survive downstream.

The technical definition has to survive tooling, test, inspection, assembly and production. Specialist work extends from Engineering when deeper validation, tooling or controlled documentation is required.
