Manufacturing

From requirement to delivered parts.

SharpSigma turns engineering requirements into controlled manufacturing supply. We establish the production route, identify appropriate manufacturing capability, resolve technical questions, define quality requirements and manage the order through acceptance.

01 · How it works

One order. One point of accountability.

One customer-facing interface coordinates engineering review, production routing, requirement flow-down, quality oversight, inspection, documentation, nonconformance communication and delivery for the defined supplied requirement.

01

Send requirement

Drawing, CAD, sample, specification or BOM—plus quantity and timing if known.

02

Review & quote

Revision, material, tolerances, finish, quantity, inspection, documentation and delivery are clarified.

03

Produce

The requirement is flowed to a manufacturing route matched to the part and order.

04

Inspect

Specified acceptance checks and required quality evidence are coordinated before release.

05

Supply

SharpSigma delivers the order and remains the commercial point for order-related issues.

Production models

Prototype through ongoing production.

SharpSigma can support prototype, bridge, short-run and recurring production requirements. The production model is defined by the part, order quantity, expected repeat demand, quality controls and documentation needs—not by an arbitrary volume label.

  • Prototype and engineering-validation quantities
  • Short-run, batch and low-volume production
  • Bridge production while a longer-term source is established
  • Recurring production and scheduled replenishment requirements
  • Replacement, service and obsolete-part requirements
  • Quantity, annual demand and expected order cadence reviewed during quotation
  • Production route may change as volume, control or commercial requirements change

Useful quote inputs: part revision, material/specification, quantity, target date, critical tolerances/features, finish, inspection/documentation requirements and delivery location. If any of these are unknown, SharpSigma can clarify the requirement before quotation.

ORDER CONTROL

Define what must be true at delivery.

The quote/order establishes the supplied requirement: applicable drawing or specification revision, quantity, material and finish requirements, dimensional/functional acceptance criteria, inspection and documentation expectations, delivery terms and any identified special controls. SharpSigma remains the customer-facing owner of the quoted supply requirement while coordinating the production route needed to fulfil it.

Where production uses external manufacturing resources, SharpSigma owns the customer-facing requirement and coordinates source selection against the part, process, quality, delivery and commercial need. The manufacturing source is treated as part of the execution route—not as a transfer of customer accountability.

When something does not conform: affected product is identified and dispositioned against the applicable requirement; customer clarification or deviation approval is obtained where needed; containment and re-inspection are defined when appropriate; root cause and corrective action are driven for repeat or material issues; and closure is tied to objective acceptance evidence rather than supplier assertion.

Production-source changes that could affect the agreed technical, quality or delivery requirement are controlled through the applicable order and technical process. SharpSigma selects and governs manufacturing capability around the technical, quality, capacity and commercial needs of the specific order rather than forcing every requirement into one fixed production footprint.

03 · Connected capability

Manufacturing does not have to start with a perfect drawing.

When needed, SharpSigma can connect engineering, industrialization and production support before or during the manufacturing order.

ENGINEERING

Define or recover the part.

Reverse engineering, DFM, tolerance review and technical definition.

INDUSTRIALIZATION

Prepare the process.

Supplier readiness, validation, APQP/PPAP, capacity and launch support where required.

OPERATIONS & QUALITY

Stabilize performance.

Capability, root cause, throughput and operating-system support when production needs recovery.

Manufacturing inquiry

Have a drawing, sample or production requirement?

Start with the non-confidential requirement, process if known, material/specification, quantity or annual demand, timing, inspection/documentation needs and delivery location. Do not attach or paste proprietary technical files into the general inquiry form. If drawings, CAD, BOMs or controlled specifications are needed, SharpSigma can arrange an NDA and/or appropriate transfer method before review. Manufacturing source, shipping route and any on-site support are then defined for the specific requirement rather than implied as a fixed geographic footprint.
